thank you ladies for your advice, and for sharing your experiences, too! i tried another digital test yesterday morning, and still got a BFN - so i think now i'm going to wait for AF to show, and if she doesn't arrive as planned, i'll test again.

thank you again!

I saw a faint line on 2 different tests, but got a not pregnant on a digital later on the same day also. But the next morning, I took the other digital and it popped up pregnant super quick! Good luck!

My first pregnancy, I had an evap with the first test I took. I wrote it off and didn't test again for a couple of days and then there was a glaring second line! Good luck!

Wandfo can detect earlier than the digital can. Wait a day or two and test again. Good luck!

So weird I am having the exact same situation right now! The digital is saying "not pregnant" but AF is late and DH and I could see a very faint line on a pink dye test. Hopefully both of us get positive test results soon!

My first pregnancy test had evap lines, and they were pink. And both lines were light pink (subsequent tests had a very bright control line.) I wouldn't think anything of it (easier said than done.) And hey, Valentine's Day seems a good day to test. One way, baby, the other way, wine.

i had a faint line on the wondfo and got a bfp when i took the digital, BUT, it may be because i probably had high hcg levels due to having twins. i'd wait til tomorrow morning. i do think a faint line is a VERY good sign.

The other thing to check is the sensitivity of the tests. If the first 2 could detect smaller amounts of HCG than the 3rd, that could explain the negative.

Also, if you read the first 2 tests within the recommended timeframe, there shouldn't have been enough evaporation to leave an evap line- hence their instructions.

@sslm: i'm 10 DPO today - i'm hoping that it's just too early for the digital test

@artbee: i took a digital today after the wondfos, but i'm wondering if using FMU that had sat for about an hour and a half could have affected its accuracy?

@jessiejo17: thanks! i'm hoping that tomorrow has a clearer answer, one way or the other haha

My advice would be to get a digital test. It will say pregnant or not pregnant. It's more expensive but so worth the money so you don't have to question yourself!

How many dpo are you? I think the wondfos are super sensitive, more than the digital. It might just be too early!!

I had the exact same thing on my first testing, if you did the digital after a bunch of water and not with the "good" morning urine, it might not have been concentrated enough to get an accurate reading. I would try again tomorrow with the digital first thing in the morning to see what the results say! Good luck!

hey ladies, i'm a bit confused, and wanted to see if anyone had any input on what happened this morning. i took 1 wondfo HPT, and got what looked like a very very very faint positive line (like, barely visible to the naked eye). so, to double check, i took a second wondfo HPT, and once again got a remarkably light line (where you could basically only see it at the edges of the test clearly)

so, i went to the store, got a box of digital tests, and (since i saved my FMU from earlier) tested, and got a BFN.

so, now i'm confused, because while i know evaporation lines are possible, i never even thought of the odds of getting 2 in a row - and, they have some pink to them, and i thought that evap lines were more grayish or off-whitish

any input on what could be going on? i plan on testing with a digital first thing in the morning, right away. i'm just kind of confused :-/
