We eventually switched it to the infant seat behind the front passenger because it was tough to haul the bucket seat up into the middle seat. A very small passenger could barely fit in the middle of the two. That was with our CR-V.</p> <p>Now we have a rear-facing convertible behind the front passenger and a forward-facing booster/convertible behind the driver. We use latch for the baby and the seatbelt for the toddler. Youngest in the middle?</p> <p>According to the manufactures guidelines for the LATCH system in my car and the type of car seats we have our Britax convertible must be in the middle (where it currently is) and our infant seat needs to be either behind the driver or passengers seat (where it was when we used it with DS). Anyone have any problems with a toddler being seated directly beside an infant? I can't help but envision some poking and fighting going on...</p> <p>**I wasn't sure where to put this? </p>
