We had crazy drooling and chewing, and one the poor kid even tried to chew on MY fingers like a baby (he looked so miserable I let him...) And then nothing for a month, until one day I look in his mouth and there they are! But that was just the first two... still waiting for the last two year molars to show up.

Well these have by far been the easiest teeth he has cut. But yes, ugh they are coming in. The bottom 2 have cut through and I think the other 2 must be coming in because he has been chewing on his fingers and drooling like crazy. He has also not been napping and sleeping great.

He's been having wake-ups which is abnormal for him now. At least he is so much easier to get back to sleep and we don't have to lay with him for hours anymore. Last night when L woke up around 4:30 am, we noticed his light was on!!! He was just sitting on the floor in his room. poor guy.

I have an early teether and now at 20 months he's starting to cut the bottom two molars. It seems to really hurt him when they cut through though since he'll point at his cheek and say "aua". So glad when they're all in and we then have some teething free years before us. (Well at least with our firstborns I guess ;-) )

@sorrycharlie: YES. UGH. Sadie's got the bottom two already, but the top two are taking their sweet time. She pretty much permanantly has her hands in her mouth. Her face, hands, and everything else she touches is always covered in slobber. We didn't deal with this with any of the other teeth!

Yes, he's been chewing his fingers off for at least 3 months now (currently 27 months), but still no sign of them actually coming in. It's almost worse when he can tell me his mouth hurts - I feel so bad.

@sorrycharlie: A has no sign of her 2 year molars at all. I'm surprised because she got all her other teeth fairly quickly. Hoping they won't be brutal!

My son turned 3 in October and just cut his first one a few weeks ago. For a while now he has been yelling out in his sleep, I'm guessing it's molars. I'm over it!

My daughter has always been a sloooow teether. But these molars are killing me. They've been moving and trying to cut for months. They're just below the gum (you can feel them). She's been drooling like an infant lately and putting everything in her mouth :meh:

Did your toddler struggle with 2 yr molars? There has to be an end in sight..
