I got a call from school and then from daycare saying they realised they missed her stop and got her. She was only waiting for 10 minutes or so and was in 2nd grade. Still I can't tell you how furious I was. DD went to the beach for the first time with daycare at about... 11 months, I think. DS hasn't gone yet this summer (he's only 4.5 months), but we'll let him go next summer, when he's over 12 months.</p> <p>Poor kid, though! Her son is now like 19, and when he was 2, he got out of the providers house and into the woods. She said from the house to the woods was a bit of distance so he had been out for awhile before she even noticed. They had to have a search party and everything for him and found him wandering lost in the woods. Counting kids and rosters is VERY important. A daycare went on an outing to the beach and left behind a 2 year old. She played with another family's kids for about 3hours and finally that family realized she wasnt with any adults so they called police! Seriously how could this happen.
