One of my kids went through a short-lived phase like this (it didn't feel so short lived at the time though!). It was almost like she was embracing having some control with potty training, but her internal clock was just a bit off at first. It worked out after a bit, especially when she saw she went right back to bed after using the bathroom and it wasn't time to get up to play in the middle of the night.

You’re not going to like this but I think you just have to wait it out. The fact that she’s waking up to poop instead of just doing in is a good sign for potty training, I think, and her body will adjust.

Help! She’s in a crib and wears diapers for nap and bed. It’s been the last week where she’s waking to poop. I have her poop before bed and i tell her morning we will poop. She’s been trained for only 2.5 weeks now. suggestions?
