Seriously the happiest I've been with a car and we test drove nearly 30 vehicles before settling on the highlander, including the forrester which we didn't care for (was a 2014 forrester.. I love it, but have definitely felt the increase in money spent on gas (I had an Altima before). </p> <p>We only have 1 LO but I liked the potential for 2 car seats on 60% of the second row so we could still get to third row (for family trips etc). I also love the hatchback trunk and the remote/power trunk. Probably third best amenity is the huge center console... But it has a third row (just one LO now so that's not super necessary) and generally feels nicer on the inside.</p> <p>Any thoughts? </p>
