Unclear, just monkey. :grin: </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/2019-new-year-resolution-your-los-version#post-2864347 Tue, 01 Jan 2019 21:12:12 +0000 irene 2864347@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>DS (6 turning 7)'s New Year Resolution :</p> <p>- make $100 or more by folding clothes ($2.5 a pop lol) and doing chores </p> <p>- clean his bathroom + bedroom every 2 weeks<br /> (He put this down all by himself, but highly doubt it will happen)</p> <p>- Finish the first book of Harry Potter (I am reading to him every night and it actually has been a lot of fun), and we will watch the Harry Pottery movie afterwards.</p> <p>- Learn to / be able to swim finally this year.</p> <p>- Build a real LEGO city in his toy room instead of it looking like a construction site for the past 3 years.</p> <p>- He will go to Mount Rushmore and Grand Canyon (He has mentioned about Grand Canyon for at least 2 years, but we were reluctant to plan a trip for it because DH and I went there for at least 2-3 times before DS). We are now talking about it as a family.</p> <p>- Be Honest (I suggested this one, and he concurred)</p> <p>- Others include drinking one glass of water in the afternoon, and remain dry all night, period (yes, we are struggling on that). Saying "s" correctly instead of sounding "s" as "th" (struggling on that too).</p> <p>I suggested that he can do one random act of kindness per week, but he refused as he said "we should always be kind" :silly: . We have been talking about it since (eg. what is "a random act of kindness"), so that's good :-) I also suggested that he can buy a gift for DH and I for our respective birthdates, which he declined :bummed: This boy has great difficulty parting with his money.
