<description>&#60;p&#62;Yes I would say normal. I was very aware of it after they put it in. Just like you described, a tightening feeling like you are trying to keep it in. I would say it lasted for atleast a week.

I got my Mirena yesterday. I've had basically no spotting/bleeding but quite a bit of cramping. But I don't know if I'm just aware that it's there or what, but I feel like my pelvic floor/abdomen is super tight like I'm trying to hold it in. I checked the strings and I don't think it's slipped down or anything but my body feels super uncomfortable. Is this normal? Any experiences?
