@Danizaur: I had this exact same issue with my first! mine was on both sides though, and it sucked! I couldn't breathe, and sometimes I couldn't even lie down :( I asked my midwife and she said it was just stuff moving around in there :-/ for me it actually lessened as I got further along, so here's hoping it's the same for you!!

@Danizaur: It's probably just things moving around or his feet or something! Hopefully it doesn't get bad like mine did.

Yup, everything is just stretching and moving around. And it could very well be his or her feet! LO's were permanently lodged in my rib cage from about then till delivery. Fun times.

@mrskc: I'm not too worried, just really confused as to what it might be. It's definitely not in tears pain yet but it's pretty uncomfortable!! I have an appt in 2 weeks. I'll ask him then.

I would think it's the baby pushing up... but maybe that's too early to be that high? I had really bad rib pain on my right side and it was from the baby. I can't remember when it started though. I want to say it started in the third tri. It was horrible! I could barely even drive it was so bad. I remember being in tears at times. After I had my son, it went away and haven't had it since. I'm pretty sure it was his bum pushing on my ribs.

Do you have a check up soon? Or call your doc if you're worried.

Since about 20 weeks I keep getting this pain/pressure in the left side of my ribs only. Usually just in the evenings. It's so painful! I'm pretty sure baby isn't up high enough for it to be him. Is my uterus just pushing everything up into my ribs? Why just my left side? Ugh. I can't breathe!
