Like you, had to travel for the shower and preferred to do it a bit earlier. I preferred that to the one I had at 38 weeks because I was huge and uncomfortable. I wore a dress and kept flashing everyone (as evidenced by pictures) when trying to open gifts. And it was a co-ed shower.
