Its so strange but I actually feel more sluggish but eventually start feeling amazing. I always keep myself too busy with elecronics or ipads. It feels great to catch up!

@Nskillet: Seriously, give in to the naps when you can- there really is no better feeling than afterwards! Its not like we will be able to on a regular basis once the little ones are here!

Any chance I get if I can crash for a half hour or hour on the weekends or right after work, I feel amazing and productive when I get up instead of dragging.

As a whole I had waaaay more energy than first tri, but I still had plenty of days where I was exhausted, it did take longer to kick in. For the most part the energy has continued well into the third trimester, but there are the days where it is hard to drag my carcass around like a normal human being.

I usually find that I feel exhausted, then the next day I feel big and awkward- so I correlate the really tired days with him hitting a growth spurt.

I had a big burst of energy late in week 14 up until about half way through week 16, but now at 17 weeks I'm definitely feeling pretty tired/low energy.

At least you've ditched the nausea! Yay!

I finally stopped feeling like I needed a nap every afternoon when I was 16 weeks (but that came back to me at 32 weeks). As other people have said, it's different for everyone - some never lose that tired feeling, and some never have it.

I'm 15 weeks and kind of feel the worst I have physically during pregnancy...but have also been working like a dog. Hoping that I'll start to notice a difference soon. Hoping you do too!

I was still sleeping in my second trimester this time around too. I'm just about to enter my third trimester, and I still don't have all my energy.

@Nskillet: Through the 1st trimester I felt more tired for "no reason" like even if I wasn't doing anything. Now in the 2nd trimester (23wks) I do notice that I feel pretty wiped at the end of a long day... definitely more than pre-pregnancy but not nearly as bad as the 1st trimester, and now I feel like I have more reason (15 lbs more reason lol)

Pregnancy is different for everyone. I still had normal first trimester symptoms until half way through my second trimester.

Hey bees! So Im 17 weeks along with our very first baby yay! Ive noticed lately im very tired after meals and a busy day. I feel much more tired now than I did weeks 1-12. People always say 2nd trimester you get our energy back. Am I still too early into it to notice??
