@Danizaur: I had this a lot with A, and it's actually starting up now with this one too and I'm only 30 weeks. I still didn't deliver until 39 weeks even though they were happening for almost 2 months, so just hang in there and maybe mention it to your OB at your next appointment if it makes you feel better.

@Pepper: I googled irritable uterus. I had heard of it before but didn't know what it meant. That definitely sounds like what I'm experiencing. I'll have to ask my doctor at my appointment on Thursday.

@Danizaur: I had them ALL THE TIME. I went into triage for them a few times, because they would come so frequently. I was told I had an irritable uterus, and to expect to have them until the end. And I did! FWIW, I always had way more than 4 in an hour.

UPDATE: This is still going on every evening. When I settle in about 6pm I have ongoing BH contractions late into the night. I don't know when they stop because when I wake up I don't have any and maybe have 1 or 2 isolated ones throughout the day/afternoon. Then they come continuously around 6pm.

They are very irregular. 2 every five minutes and then I won't have another for 20 minutes...etc. I think LO may be triggering them because for the last few days during this time he is also insanely active...almost painful and his movements have never been painful to me. He feels like he's fighting a war in there.

They still are just mildly uncomfortable but enough to disturb my sleep! Lol!! Is this just my life from now until delivery?

Thanks for the input! I'll time them to see if there's a pattern. I'm not really worried...I just always heard if you have more than 4 in an hour you should be seen. But since they're not painful and LO is moving around a lot I'm not that concerned.

Just confused. Crazy pregnancy body. Lol

I had BHs for basically the last 2 months of my pregnancy, for the last two weeks they were very frequent, but never developed any measurable pattern. Frustrating? Yes. Reason to worry? No ...(although I totally did haha!). Hopefully they go away soon!

@Danizaur: I doubt it but I would keep track of them. My OBGYN never had me come in for BH but I went in for other things that other OBGYNs might have let go. Download a free contraction timer app and keep track of them. If a pattern develops then call.

I used to have them ALL THE TIME. I'd monitor them over a few hours and see if they change (closer together, painful) and then I'd call but I wouldn't be concerned at this point.

Just to note, they aren't lasting long. Maybe a minute.

I've just recently been able to identify my BH contractions and I typically have one a day. Maybe one at night too but I sleep through them. I'm resting in the recliner watching TV and I've had 3 of them in the span of about 30 minutes. Not painful at all, just generally uncomfortable.

From what I've heard, more than 4 in an hour is a sign to be seen. I'm pretty sure I'm not dehydrated but I'm drinking some water anyways and I've been resting for the last 3 hours straight. I've been sick with a cold but it hasn't been that bad.

What do you bees think? It's been about 10 minutes since the last one and I haven't had another one yet.

Oh I'm 34 weeks pregnant.
