But nothing prolonged. This cry is nothing I've heard before, it's very high pitched. I thought she was in pain but she was crying in her sleep. I read that it could be nightmares or growing pains.</p> <p>Does anyone know why some babies cry in their sleep? </p> <p>Does your LO do this? </p>
