She just woke up after being asleep for only two hours. She is crying hysterically and will not stop. It's going to be a long night.

@BKCaribBaby: I don't remember if my LO hit it early or right at 4 months. But it was horrific. Horrific. Did I say horrific? Hopefully you're lucky and it's a short 2 week one!

We hit the 4-month sleep regression early at 3.5 months. How many weeks is your LO?

@BKCaribBaby: Actually I checked the calendar, it started at 3 months and in the last week, it is 100% worse. She turns 4 months next Thursday.

@regberadaisy: She's teeny, but she might be outgrowing the R N' P. That's one of the many reasons we've been trying to get her out of it. We're hoping to try to start the crib process again soon. For some reason she didn't really have any 12 Week Wonder Week issues, but maybe this is it? She hit the others right on time, like to the day. This started happening at about 13 Weeks, so maybe she's hitting this one later? She's 14 weeks today.

@Smurfette: Yeah. I was wondering if it's the 4 month one early, but she just turned 3 months a week ago. I guess it's possible?

@aprk: Glad to see that I'm not alone or crazy on this one. I hope it gets better for the both of us.

We started having regression at 3 1/2 months, so it is possible. At least you are getting 3 hour stretches. We get a 3 or 4 hour, and then the rest of the night it is every 30min to 1 1/2hour, she is up.

This happened to us, too! I have no idea what's going on, haha. He's fighting going down, wakes up more often, and now is striking on naps. :/

Is she perhaps getting too big for the RnP? There is a big 4 month sleep regression that she might be hitting early?? Is it a Wonder Week?

I swear all I post about is sleep!

LO has never been the best sleeper, but her nighttime sleep improved from Week 8 up until about 4 or 5 days ago. She was going down easily for bed and sleeping 4-5 hours for her first stretch of sleep for the night. Sometimes she would even do 6 hours. She would then sleep at about three hour increments (about 2 additional wake ups usually sometimes 1 or none at all) and get up around 7am.

Lately, she seems to only be able to sleep 3 hour stretches with 3 wake ups per night. She wakes up sometimes at 5am and doesn't seem to want to go back to sleep. She also seems to be fighting sleep at the beginning of the night.

We're not sure what's going. We have found her scrunched at the bottom of the Rock n' Play where she sleeps (we were in the process of transitioning her to her own room and then the crib when this started). She seemed to be slipping down and almost looked like she was about to fall out. I think we may have remedied that, but we're not sure if it will make a difference.

I know that this isn't as bad as other people's tales of regressions, but any insight here? What does a regression look like anyway? We're so disappointed because her sleep was getting better. Sigh...
