1. She's started making an intentional smacky kissing noise, and grins huge when we do it back! Cutest thing ever.

2. She's getting her belly off the floor, about to crawl!

3. She's started rolling into her stomach to sleep. Freaks me out but she loves it!

@MoonMoon: Lol to "don't be ridiculous". So cute!

DS is 16 months.
1. Learned to say "Boo" this weekend and thinks its hilarious when DH says Boo back.
2. Noticed his shadow for the first time this weekend and walked up to it trying to figure out what it was. DH and I were dying laughing.
3. Temper Tantrums! I wouldn't give him more Lucky Charms after he ate only the marshmallows, so he ran across the kitchen and threw himself to the floor screaming/crying. Too funny (for now).

So sweet! 15, almost 16 mo old K -

I can't even choose just 3! Her language skills and understanding of everything continues to amaze us!

(1) Started saying thank you without any prompting and in the right context
(2) Obsessed with hugging and kissing things/people (and will ask you to hug and kiss, sooo cute)
(3) Some new words lately - Teeth, Bunny, Draw. And I'm finding that she understands when I switch between Chinese/Eng for the same thing!!

DS is 18 months.

1. He isn't very verbal yet, but he's very slowly learning words for a few things. Recently he's been saying "shoes" and "car" very proudly and excitedly and its just the cutest.

2. He's going through his 18 month regression (sigh) and its come with a little bit of separation anxiety and stranger danger, which is really new for us because DS has never been a cuddler or very clingy. But its kinda nice when he raises his arms to us to be picked up and held when he's feeling uncomfortable these days.

3. Climbing. Furniture, tables, his learning tower, slides, his stroller, everything. Its driving me nuts, but I guess he's growing up!

My kiddo is 7 months.

1) Crawling. She still army crawls half the time, but she can crawl properly, and she's fast. She also figured out yesterday that she can crawl over me when I'm laying down.

2) Teeth! She got her first tooth last week, and has another one about to poke through.

3) Hitting things to make different sounds and see how they feel. Tile floors are surprisingly entertaining. I see clapping in our near future.

DS will be 11 months on Friday.

1. He is trying to climb on and under everything! He isn't quite tall enough to climb on the furniture yet, but he tries to use me/his toys as a step stool. He also likes to get under the Poang chair, the coffee table, and his crib.

2. Lots of babbling. It sounds like a sing-song nonsense sentence. I love it!

3. He actually snuggles a bit! When I pick him up he really holds on and hugs me. He even sits still on my lap to drink his bottle most of the time.

Dd is 15 months old.

1. Shoes. She's currently obsessed with them. When I'm trying to get ready in the morning she insists on dragging shoe after shoe from my closest wanting me to put them all on.

2. She's started picking up her toys. Granted it's more that I pick them up and hand them to her and she throws them in her basket, but it's a start.

3. She's figured out how to go into the pantry and drag out the Girl Scout cookies, although I can't say I blame her for that!

DD is 5.5 months

1. Sitting unassisted. She sat herself up for the first time last weekend and was pretty wobbly. Now she's really got it down.

2. She's reaching up and grabbing my face. She laughs when I kiss her hand. It's pretty cute.

3. Crawling. She's been rolling, scooting, and army crawling for a while now. Today she crawled with her belly off the ground for a couple of seconds. I give her a couple of weeks before she's crawling all over the house. She's growing too fast!

LO turns a year in a little over a week. His three new things are:
1) his first independent unassisted steps!!! They aren't consistent yet, and he prefers cruising or crawling, but they're there.
2) offering me something (placing a toy, say, in my hand) and then not letting go. He pulls whatever it is away and grins or giggles.
3) he enjoys playing with other babies and young toddlers now. He seems to like the slighter older kids (over 12 months) probably cause they move more and are more interesting.

Love all these! So cute.

DS is 3
1. He finally grasped that if he just asked nicely, we'd give in more. Yesterday DH was with him in the bathroom, he said "Daddy can you please get out? I need some privacy, thank you."
2. Using "usually" and "actually" correctly, adorable. "Mama, I usually like your singing but not right now."
3. Going to the bathroom and washing his hands without any prompting or help from us, just like an adult. It sounds so simple but it's starling to see, wasn't he just a baby?!?!

DD is 2
1. Recognizing and singing a bunch of hit songs on the radio. Victorious is a recent favorite.
2. Taking off her footie pjs and diapers, the last 3 mornings in a row I've walked in on a naked toddler.
3. whywhywhywhywhywhy, a thousand times a day.

My DD just turned a year last week. Her new 3 things are:
1) Making a "tsk" sound when I ask her "What does the bunny say?"
2) Singing in her stroller. She just sits there and melodically sings "lalalayayaya" at anyone and everyone.
3) Feeding me her food then snatching it back. She used to give me Cheerios all the time. Now she'll hold it out to me, then snatch it back and giggle. It's pretty cute!

DD is 22 months:
1) asking "how are you?"
2) she can say her baby brother's name AND associate it with him. Super sweet!
3) when she sings "twinkle twinkle" she nails every note and half the words!

DS is 2 weeks:
1) he just outgrew his few premie outfits and the newborn stuff is starting to fit! (He was born 7 lbs at 38 weeks)
2) he has started to follow objects (or faces) with his eyes
3) he has begun to refuse pacifiers, which sucks during those middle of the night diaper changes!

these are all so sweet!

Lo will be 2 in less than a week

1) Her sentences are becoming longer, especially with the addition of the phrase "I want to..." so now she says things like "I want to eat please" instead of "eat please"

2) She's singing to herself more and more! Now when she wakes up we hear her singing "baa baa black sheep," "itsy bitsy spider" or other songs rather than just yelling "mama!"

3) when she draws, she's starting to say she's drawing various things (like faces, specific animals, shapes, etc) rather than just scribbling. though it of course still looks like scribbles ;)

Top 3 new things:

2. Telling us when she pees or goes "potty" she will hold her diaper and say "Peepee"
3. She prays when I put her in her highchair it melts my heart it is alot of mumbo jumbo with a few "please and thank yous and then Amen!!!!!
