Have you tried putting her bedding in bed with you for a night before you put it on her bed? Or try using one of your worn shirts as a bottom sheet? Your Lo might be happier to sleep in her bed if it has your smell all over it.

My other suggestion is to keep settling her into her bed and only co sleeping from the first wake up.

Hugs Mama!

My son only slept on me at 3 months which meant on my arm. That meant that I could only sleep on one side or on my back. As I usually turn over constantly, and prefer to sleep on my stomach, co-sleeping didn't work. If he had hung out between my husband and I, I wouldn't have cared. His naps were also usually on me.

I did CIO at 3 weeks for night in his crib. Naps took a bit longer and was done more at 5 weeks. I had to go back to work at 6 weeks and my husband would be staying home. It bothered my husband a lot more than me. We did extinction and it only lasted 45 minutes max with no crying after 3 nights.

I don't necessarily recommend CIO, but it was necessary for me and worked well.

We're at 3 weeks too. You're ahead of me, I haven't even made it back into bed yet. I'm sleeping in a recliner with DS on my chest. Not ideal but I need some sleep.

I went with it. By 3 weeks mine could latch unassisted so I would sleep topless and she'd help herself.

Survival mode! Do what you need to do and do it safely! There are in bed bassinets so baby has her own space and you have yours. Or what @SweetiePie: said. It feels like it lasts forever but it's a phase! You can't ruin a 3 week old so I personally wouldn't worry about sleep habits quite yet and get the sleep you all need!

I think you're still In survival mode so do what you need to do. However, it is a good idea to keep reinforcing and trying the bassinet/crib every night. My friend recently had the exact same issue and she just kept trying and trying then all of the sudden she slept there one night.
I think she kept trying drowsy but awake and would try to leave her there longer and longer to see if she'd fall asleep. She's a newborn so I'm not saying let her CIO. Maybe at first lay her down and if she cries go ahead and pick up. A couple nights later increase it to a few seconds and so forth.
Just keep enforcing "hey this is where you're supposed to sleep".
It seems like it'll never end but I promise it does get better and easier and before you know it, with persistence, she'll sleep in her bassinet/crib. When you feel like giving up just remember that some persistence now will pay off in the end and you can be as gentle or firm about it as you want.

This is how I would up co-sleeping with my first. Nothing else worked. Maybe try a swing?

I co-sleep. That said, have you tried putting your LO down in the bassinet once they are completely asleep?

My 3 week old only wants to sleep with me at night. During the day, she'll sleep in the bassinet or rocker, but at night she will fuss until she is in bed with me. I don't want to cosleep, but I need sleep at night! Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, she has hated swaddling from day 1 so she is in a sleep sack
