We had a few months of it, but thankfully it didn't last. C is almost 3.5 now and it's really calmed down. I think our DD's are similar in age. We went thru a stage a month or two ago where she was having a lot of tantrums/meltdowns. Lately things have been pretty good but I don't think we are past that stage yet. I'm hoping by 4 they'll mostly be gone?</p> <p>@lulumom: I recently saw a post on those bottles and would love to try it with E. I came across the Relax bottle on Pinterest, and I ran straight to Hobby Lobby and got all the necessary items to make one. And I can say IT WORKS for us! We call it her "chill out jar" and I shake it and she watches it, she's even asked for it when she gets upset "mommy I need to watch the glitter." She hit me, kicked me and when I picked her up to move her to her room, she bit me on the back. She didn't want to wear the dress I put on her this morning. 10 minutes later, she was calm enough for a hug and some comfort. </p> <p>At what age do these tantrums last? Anyone else want to commiserate? </p>
