I'll try redirecting. I try to explain that my milk is gone and she's not a baby so she can't do that anymore but she seems really persistent... She's suddenly very curious about babies and where they come from and how they acted. She'll go weeks without saying anything and then for whatever reason she'll pretend to nurse, try to touch my breasts and say "yummy yummy"! I don't make a big deal but I just say "please don't touch my body, nursing is for little babies and you are a big girl." She gets over it pretty quick. Like, it was so long I think he didn't even know what he wanted or why, it was just an instinct. Maybe try another way to address those needs and see if she stops asking. Like a new lovey or extra cuddle time built in to your day?</p> <p>Did any friends just have babies? She was weaned at 13 months cause I had terrible milk blisters all the time and no matter what position she was or how she latched it was awful. I wanted to bf till she was 2 but couldn't get that far... But she keeps asking to bf and tries putting her mouth on my breast and plays with my breast... Why is she doing this and asking after so long?? I tell her there's no more milk and she drank it all but still wants to bf.... She is my only one and I'm not pregnant or looking to have another.. So I don't think it's a jealousy thing?? </p>
