I’ll give it a try (and change our time out spot—it’s currently not something that’s ok to pee on).

I agree with the above. I would still do time outs. No playing if you cannot play nice. Best of luck. My 2.5 year old gets rough with her 7.5 year old cousin! Its a lot of gentle reprimands and time outs.

Try the book Hands are not for Hitting. And honestly I'd do a time out anyway. "You hurt your sister. I will put you here until your body is calm and you are ready to be kind. When you are ready to be kind I will help you check on sister and make sure she is not hurt."
She can change her own clothes and wipe up the time out spot if she chooses to pee.

My newly 3 y/o has recently starting hitting and pushing and I’m not sure how to manage it. I remove her from the situation but time outs really aren’t an option because she rage pees (like if we put her in time out she just pees in her pants). I also know time outs are apparently not the best form of discipline but I really don’t know what to do. She generally hits her sister (5.5 y/o) or cousin (2 y/o), but I can’t identify any triggers. She’s otherwise well behaved. Today she full on shoved the 2 y/o into a door and she fell down. She refuses to apologize and doesn’t show any remorse which is the worst part. Any recommendations on how to handle this behavior and get the hitting to stop?
