Honestly I didn't bring much for baby to the hospital. We used everything that the hospital provided, plus I think I brought a going-home outfit for her, the boppy, and a couple of nursing sleep bras. However, whether or not I would bring my bag all depends on how far away I lived from the hospital and how much room I had in the car. I don't think I used anything from my hospital bag while physically in labor. What worries me is that we would be driving back into Manhattan to get to my hospital...and I have all of these (possibly irrational) fears of there being awful traffic to get through the Lincoln Tunnel and I am stuck laboring in a car for hours.
