Achy and swollen. 35 weeks today. I think I've dropped a bit - my belly is looking more like a ski slope than a beach ball. And I'm peeing all the time (I seriously can't wait for the first "satisfying" pee after labor). And my hips are getting tired of being slept on every night.

I feel pretty good. I have been in modified bed rest since like 20 something weeks, and now that I am almost full term i have kind of been giving myself more freedom. The only thing that is still a concern is my high BP....I am hoping my adventure today did not bring it up too much! I went on a very long treasure hunting/shopping trip with my girlfriends that ended up lasting 8 hours!!!! I was pretty tired and experiencing some period like cramps at the end, but nothing too unbearable.
Luckily i have not had to deal with the whole swelling thing....in fact the past couple days my wedding set has been too big for me.....weird!!!
Everything is ready for baby at our house....especially mom and dad! BTW i am 36 weeks.

@regberadaisy: I'm amazed too considering a 30 minute walk usually wears me out! I'm exhausted!

It was only supposed to be a 45 minute hike, but my little sister wanted to see another waterfall and according to the map we thought it was only a little out of the way. Turns out we were wrong!

I'm 36.5 weeks and still feeling good. I'm on vacation with my family this week but when we get back it's finishing touches on the nursery and packing the hospital bags.

Just got back from a 3 hr hike by some waterfalls and I don't know how I'm still standing! So many stairs! Got back and ate a sandwich, chips, 3 glasses of milk, Oreos, and ice cream. Desperately need a nap!

lots of pain, but honestly, not much more than 2nd tri. the hard part is not being able to breathe well. -- and the nerve pain from the swelling. and the feeling ugly from the swelling, too.
i want him to be here, but also i'm afraid of the sudden change!

me too re: labor!

I totally forgot all the breathing techniques taught to me during childbirth class. I know there was a hee hee woo that I should not use until active labor. But I forgot the other one for early labor!!!
Re looking into more natural ways to cope with pain now.

I'm in my 36th week, starting to swell a little and definitely starting to feel a slow down. I find myself needing breaks while doing things around the house, I'm sleeping in if I don't set an alarm and am starting to get uncomfortable changing positions in bed. Ugh and those first few strides out of bed in the morning or while getting up to pee during the night are really achy, its like my feet feel like I've been on them all night and my pelvis is about to explode?!

I don't really have too many baby related projects left. I have to buy a night stand and finish a few decorations, but its nothing urgent. We still have to install our car seat, but otherwise everything is washed and organized, supplies are ready to go, gear is ready and waiting.

I'm starting to feel the urge to research anything and everything now re: labor... I'd kind of avoided it until this point and now I'm sweating it!

@cvbee:
Just did the amazon registry completion the other day. The total was scary!! haha Still have a few things I need from our Target registry.
For some reason I feel like I can go early...but we'll see. :)

@bpcmarj:
YES! Turning around and getting up to pee in the middle of the night is so painful. :(
We were checking out the car seat yesterday and like idiots took us forever to find the latch release. hahahha

I feel pretty good a week out from my due date. I have been having pelvic pressure/pain since about week 36. It makes turning over in my sleep agony, but other than that is only bad in the morning. I haven't had any other real issues so far other than braxton hicks like crazy.

We got everything ready this past week. We set up the pack and play in our bedroom since that's where she'll be sleeping for the first few months. We installed the car seat in the car. We set up the glider and rearranged the living room. Today, I am washing her clothes and blankets and packing our hospital bag. Snap and go stroller has been picked up from the friend we are borrowing it from and we also put together the all terrain stroller.

I feel like after today we are VERY ready for her to get here. We talk about it everyday, too! :)

I'm actually surprisingly in good health. A bit of leg swelling, but I really don't have much to complain about.

I'm doing some registry completion and still have to prep-wash the cloth diapers, but soon I might run out of things to do. I would be really happy to go in labour now, even though I'm still a few days shy of 38 weeks, but I suspect that I'll be waiting a long time for baby, so I'm trying to gear myself up for that too .

So I know there are a couple ladies on here who are nearing the finish line like me.

How the heck are you feeling?!??!

I'm getting tired super easily. Went to work at the new house today and worked 20mins rested 10mins. Hahha
Felt the need to nest so organizing her nursery had to do. Her furniture is still at my husbands work.

Definitely feelIng the uncomfortableness of the last few weeks but nothing unmanageable. Feeling a lot of lower back & hip pain and pelvic pressure, like a lot.

We've been sleeping with the Summer Infant by your side sleeper last couple nights. We (pup included!) did pretty well and it was comfortable. The dog sleeps in line with the sleeper it's pretty cute :).

We're honestly pretty much ready for her. She's got clothes washed, playpen set up for temp changing station until we move to new house etc.

We can't wait to meet her! It's all we really talk about! Hahha

So how are YOU feeling and doing in preparation for baby's imminent arrival? ;)
