What if your body just doesn't feel contractions?!? Ha, wouldn't that be amazing?! Excited for your next few weeks ... 36 weeks is so exciting! Not too much longer.

I never felt them until labor, but when hooked up to the nonstress test at 37 weeks, you could clearly see them.

I never felt any contractions until I was induced. I had to be monitored at the hospital a few times and I was having tons of contractions but never felt them. Once I knew when they were happening via the monitor, I could tell, but when I was just out and about in daily life, I never felt them.

I never had any contractions either until 39+6 when I felt some extremely mild contractions. Labor started that night and LO was born on her due date.

Apparently not feeling BH is totally normal for first babies, but with subsequent babies, they are much more common.

I didn't feel any BH until about three days before my due date. I must have been having them regardless because the doctor would tell me I was having contractions during non stress tests at the end. I naively hoped that might mean I must have a high pain tolerance and might not even really feel labor. Ha! Turned out I felt the real contractions just like everyone else.

I don't remember having them either. Maybe light BH but nothing painful. Long labor sort of made up for that, lol. (It was long because they didn't break my water and it wouldn't break and that slowed it.. Doesn't mean yours will be long!)

Not even Braxton Hicks! My belly is always very hard and I've never noticed any further tightening or hardening. Last night I woke up with dull to medium pain, like my period was going to start. But it was constant, no starting and stopping.

Has anyone else experienced this? All of the pregnant people I've talked to say they've felt Braxton Hicks at least occasionally or throughout their pregnancies, so I'm feeling left out!
