I'm 33 weeks, and I've had 2 of them for about a month now! I wasn't ever even constipated when I got them. The doc says that it's because of the pressure my uterus is putting on my pelvic floor. Apparently, they get worse after delivery. Lucky me! All I can say is that I've been drinking Metamucil like water and I take Miralax every so often for when it gets really bad. Hoping it all clears up PP!

I had a couple pre delivery and thy got worse during delivery. They really flared up at 4 months and 6 months PP. I was able to relieve the pain with two sitz baths a day with Epsom salt and prescription meds. Also, I used moist cloths to wipe the area. I know I still have them now at 13 months PP but they don't hurt or bother me at all. After you give birth make sure to get a prescription ointment and if they become painful take care of it right away.

I got one near the end of pregnancy. They got really uncomfortable after delivery for 2-3 weeks then I never noticed them again. However, now that I'm pregnant again ( 21 weeks ) they're back and really really uncomfortable.
There's no point using the hemorrhoid cream you can buy off the shelf, ask your dr for an rx.
Hope it doesn't bother you too much, hopefully it goes away quickly for you !

Its in your best interest to take care of that constipation! I'd recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BPUY3W0?ref_=sr_1_1&qid=1407441105&sr=8-1&keywords=natural%20calm&pldnSite=1

Well, if it's real bad, they can fix it during delivery. A friend of mine had it done while she was numb from the epidural and had stitches down there anyways

Am I alone here? Been coughing like a mad woman due to a bad cold I have. I don't know how I did this to myself!!! I've definitely been constipated for several weeks but haven't forced BMs. Anyone else have this happen pre-delivery? This makes me .more scared to vbac if it happens!!!
