It was so much fun--much moreso than I had anticipated! I went home at a 11, but I made it through drinks round 1, drinks/derby watching (they even made me a virgin Julep at the bar :), tapas and dinner and the first portion of the drag show! </p> <p>It was actually REALLY nice to get out and have a girls night, stuff my face, and have a little silly time. By the time I got home I was in so much pain from walking and sitting on a barstool, but it was more than worth it. Also, everyone was super impressed that I'd come out at 37 weeks and made me feel like a rockstar--they all kept saying I was their pregnancy idol. Have fun, and don't be afraid to take it easy and rest, nobody will fault you! I can barely walk due to sciatica. Any tips for surviving the night? The plan is drinks, dinner, drinks, drag show, dancing. I plan to go to all events but duck out pre dancing (if I can't walk, I surely can't dance!) Luckily it is here in town, but any words of advice/encouragement would be much appreciated! I will be wearing a black, stretchy, comfy dress and flippy floppies, for sure. </p>
