You guys make me feel like a bum. My "workouts" consist of cleaning the house, work, or a short walk if I feel up to it. :p I def need to start at least walking some more. It actually feels really good to get moving once I start, it's just forcing myself to do it.

@mamabolt: I jogged until 20 weeks, but then started feeling pressure in my uterus and that freaked me out! I wish I had discovered the workout DVD sooner - I really like it!

I love Summer Sander's DVD! I'm 25 weeks now, and I do that about 2x a week, and walk on the treadmill about 3x a week. Hopefully I can keep that up! I was jogging still up until a few weeks ago, but it really started to bother my hips so now I'm sticking with walking only.

I bow down to all of you still working out in later pregnancy- you have my full respect and amazement!

My work outs consisted of sitting on the couch, lifting food to mouth, and repeating ;)

Actually due to swelling and all around feeling crummy the most I did was a 30 minute dog walk around the neighborhood each day that my doctor recommended.

Apparently I still ran around at work more than my boss had ever seen anyone in their third tri do, but I felt like it wasn't much.

I did prenatal aqua aerobics and yoga weekly all the way until the end of my pregnancy. The aqua aerobics was an awesome workout, I need to see if they have a post-natal class so I can keep going!

Sigh--I was just being a little more careful with my regular routine (TRX, spinning, elliptical + weights) and then I got in the accident and had done literally nothing--can't even handle a short walk--since my accident. 10 weeks to go and I miss the gym!!

My favorite was water zumba. U was pregnant in the summer so it felt so good to be in the water. I also did a lot of walking indoors, like the mall and petsmart because I liked taking my pup.

I walk or use the elliptical 4-5 times a week for about 30 minutes, and do yoga when I'm having pain. This morning I went for walk for over an hour and I'm exhausted! I hope I can keep active until the end too, especially with this great weather!

I'm almost 32 weeks and still go to pilates 4-5x a week. It's been getting tougher with my growing belly though so I'm going to be going back to the gym starting April 1 to alternate pilates and walks on the treadmill.
I totally agree, working out has helped me mentally (i.e. has kept me SOMEWHAT sane!).

So what are ya'll doing for workouts (if any!) in the 3rd tri?

I've been pretty sick the past few weeks, so have been taking it easy, but I did recently discover the Summer Sanders pre-natal workout DVD. It's really good!

I'm 29 weeks and at this point, I still plan to work out 4x a week - continue with elliptical and now that the weather in Boston is getting better (and it's going to stay lighter longer!) hopefully mix in some long walks. I still feel pretty good pregnancy wise and am hoping to stay active until the end. It definitely helps me mentally, too - I just hated the idea of giving up workouts while pregnant, even if I have to do lame workouts ; )

What about you?
