There really is SO much going on at that age! It could be a regression of some sort. How much awake time is she having between last nap and bed? Any time we go through this we bump up bedtime a little earlier and it usually helps. For whatever reason he goes through periods where he gets overtired and needs a slightly earlier bedtime. Maybe he's so much more active during the day at certain ages (physically or mentally) and it wears him out? Purely hypothetical on the reason, but it definitely helps! We've had some insanely early bedtimes because of it but he still sleeps till the same time the next day or maybe even a little later! Then I'll test out pushing it a little later and later to get to a more reasonable bedtime, like 7pm. We did 6pm for a while.

4 months seems to be such a changing month for little ones! I've posted more this month than any other month before. For the past couple nights my little one has been hysterical and screaming before bedtime. He's always been a good little sleeper but ever since he's hit 4 months he has been the hardest to put down for bed. Naps are still ok - he goes down with very little fussing an hour after each feeding. I am literally scared every time bedtime rolls around because it is so awful. Last night the screaming lasted for an entire hour before he wore himself out. I tried everything. Has anyone dealt with something similar before? Does it pass? Maybe 4 month regression to blame?
