Could you try "wake to sleep" for a couple days. Basically, set an alarm at 415 and go gently rouse her. Not so much that she fully wakes, but enough to reset her sleep cycle. Do that for 2-3 days then see if she wakes at 445. If it's just habit, that might break the cycle.

Also, while it seems counterintuitive, if she is sleepy t 6, you may want to move bedtime sooner. I really resisted this with my guy (won't he get up sooner?!) but an early bedtime actually helped him sleep longer.

Just a couple things to try.

What happens if you leave her be at 445? If she is happy/smiley, can you leave her in the crib (if that's where she sleeps?) and let her get tired again? Does she self-settle?
No real advice, its just that my son (7 mos) often stirrs at 430 and sometimes even does some crawling practice and singing to himself, but will 99% of the time fall back to sleep til 6 or 630. Up until 2 weeks ago I would feed him at that wakeup, but since he's been gaining weight well and I've gone back to work I've gotten lazier and lazier, and found that he would go back to sleep if I stayed in bed :)

No advice, but I hope she gets tired of partying soon! The good thing about phases is that they eventually pass, but the bad part is you never know when...

DD is 6 months and for the past two weeks has been waking like clockwork at 4:45am for no other reason than to have a baby party. She's super happy and smile-y (which is both terribly cute and frustrating at such an early hour). It takes me almost an hour to put her back down. She's usually very easy to get back down in the middle of the night (still waking 2-4 times per night) but for some reason during this early morning one she really fights it. I think that by the time I get her back down it's just too close to her normal wake time (7:00), but who knows...

I'd try a later bedtime, but I'm not sure if that's the issue. We start her sleep routine around 6:45pm and she is usually asleep by 7:15pm. Starting at 6:00ish she is really fussy and obviously tired so I'd be scared to keep her awake any longer than we do.

I should also mention that in general her sleep is crap, but bearable. She does a semi-long stretch of 4 hours, then is up almost every two hours for the rest of the night.

Any advice or is this just babies bein' babies? ;)
