Oh baby parties. Only fun for the baby. No real advice, but it seems to be fairly common. They will end (even though that doesn't help you now). Hang in there!

I have no solution for you, but know that you're not alone!

I have a 6 mo old and I find that whenever she goes to bed "too early", she'll wake up MOTN like that for 1-3 hours, totally awake, wanting to play tills he's tired again!

For now my theory is that since she only sleeps 10-11 hrs, she's 'self regulating' so she wakes up MOTN in order not to sleep too much (why she doesn't just wake up at 4:30 for the day instead, I don't know...)

So I try to stretch out her last period of awake time and generally don't put her to bed before 7:30.

Help! My 4.5 month old has been waking at night, nursing, and then won't go back down for another 1-2 hours. I will put him in his crib drowsy but awake, and he instantly perks up and starts playing. He'll do this for 1-2 hours (always between 2-5 am) and eventually cry because he is tired. He'll then scream whether we are with him or not b/c he can't go back to sleep. Any tips for what's causing this and how to help him get back to sleep? He generally goes to bed around 7, and takes 3-4 naps a day. Thank you!!
