Cheese commercials and begs to go so we finally told him that they have a rule that you must poop in the potty to go inside. (He still asks for a diaper to poop 🤦🏻‍♀️) So now he says that when he poops in the potty someday he can go.<br /> Well a few weeks ago my MIL had him over night and the next day she said she wanted to take him to Chuck E. Cheese. He very seriously told her “no no grandma, you have to poop in the potty to go there, they won’t let me in”. We already planned to take him to Toys R Us to pick a present and he loves donuts so I got a recommendation for a new local place that’s supposed to be really good. For her 3rd bday we went to open play time at an inflatables jumping place, just us as a family of 4 (the baby was only 6 months old and in the carrier on my chest but DH jumped with her. She had an absolute blast. Maybe you could do something like that? We also spray dyed her hair pink with that stuff people use at Halloween—maybe you could do that with blue or green? We took her to Chick-fil-A, which she loves. We made a special breakfast with green eggs and ham (scrambled eggs with green food dye and country ham). What did your LO enjoy for that birthday?</p> <p>For some background, we are 3 hours from home with LO2 in NICU. DS1 turns four in about a week. He’s super excited about his birthday this year and I want to do some little things to make his birthday weekend special.</p> <p>We will maybe do a bday/baby is home celebration with the grandparents when we do get home, but I haven’t really planned that out! </p>
