<description>&#60;p&#62;You can basically watch them anywhere along the east river (that's where they are this year). TimeOut NY probably has a guide of spots to watch.  I'm also usually an avoider of stuff like this but we've watched them just from the promenade/running path on the ues before.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Honestly, I always avoided the fireworks watching spots., they were too crowded for my taste, especially with LOs. However, one year we stumbled across the Madison Square Park Shake Shack while the fireworks were going off and there was no one in line! It was amazing!
