My LO is around the same age as LMW, and for the past couple of weeks, he had only been napping 30 minutes at a time, but was a good night sleeper, so I didn't want to be greedy. These past three days, however, he would take his usual 30 minute naps for the first two naps, and then his last nap of the day would be 2-3 hours. Great time for me to nap! Hahahaha. Anyways, for us, the 1.5 hour awake rule very much applies to us, so even if he wakes up from his nap at 6PM, we can still put him down by 8PM. :D

Wow!!!! My son used to take a monster morning nap in his swing. Like 3 hours. Oh how I miss those days! Now they are 30 mins in the crib.

OMG, funny. Baby banana had a 4+ hour nap the other day and she probably would've slept longer if my son didn't go up to her and poke her in the face. As long as her night time sleep isn't affected, I think it's GREAT! haha

as long as she doesn't have her nights/days mixed up. 5 hours is a GREAT night stretch so if she doesn't sleep 3+ hours tonight I would try to avoid it!

C is exactly the same way. Little 30 minute naps with the exception of a long ass nap in the middle of the day. She's napping in her swing (she won't nap in her crib, we tried and failed, but she does sleep in it at night) and it doesn't seem to affect her night sleeping.

If it doesnt affect her night time sleep i wouldnt worry about it. I would only worry if she sleeps less at night as a result of the long nap

LMW's sleep has been all over the place for the last week. Lately during the day (she's home with my mom currently) she takes several small (30-60 min) naps, and one HUGE nap in her swing, in the middle of the day. Today it was 5 hours and 20 mins long!!! Is this ok?? Is this healthy?!? Oh my....
