@Jessiemuller88: thanks for responding!

I think it was tooth related this time. She went back to her awesome sleeping at night Sunday night and last night after her first tooth broke through the gum.

I have 10 month old twins, and although they are great sleepers too, they both randomly go through little regressions like this. When mine go through this, I wait 5 minutes to go in, then I briefly comfort them and walk out. I never pick them up, change them or offer milk. Sometimes it takes a few nights, but they always go back to sleeping great again.

When my oldest was a baby, he started waking every 3 hours at night, and I gave in and would feed him or change him. I never let him settle himself. He still wakes up at night sometimes, and he’s 4!!!!

Just a question for more knowledgeable moms.

My baby girl has been a great sleeper. Started sleeping 10 hours regularly around 3 months old (like 6 nights out of 7) and no 4 month sleep regression. She’s 5 1/2 months old now. But the last two nights she’s been waking up every 3.5 hours really upset. I change her diaper, she eats a few ounces and try to limit interactions to that. She goes back to sleep and then wakes up about 3-3.5 hours later. She does have a bottom tooth coming in - I can see and feel the edge of it.

Is ger sleep being affected by this teething or is she just having a sleep regression later than most? And ideas of what I should do at night while it’s like this so I don’t lose my amazing little sleeper?
