I will say that if I didn't know which was which, I'd choose the Graco as the one with more plush padding.</p> <p>But the Britax wins for me, because of the Click Tight technology. We road trip a lot to visit my family so comfort is definitely key. He loves the cup holders hahahaha. I have the same seat for my 5.5 year old and she still uses the 5 point harness (and will for awhile). He's 40lbs and 39.5" and the straps in his Britax are barely above his shoulders. He's in the height and weight range for the seat, but he's kind of built like a tiny linebacker and we've been noticing how squished he seems lately. Not to mention that it doesn't seem like the straps actually extend any further than they're already out.</p> <p>So I'm trying to do some research on 5 point harness booster seats to see if there's much of a difference in size than a convertible seat. Has anyone with a preschooler already moved out of the convertible? Recommendations for boosters? Obviously safety is our #1 concern. </p>
