I was in the same boat....DD started sleeping an 8 hour stretch at 4 weeks...I worried and googled like crazy but in the end just decided to enjoy it! She's 12 weeks old now and sleeps 10-12 hrs at night.

Enjoy it! I went from worrying about too much sleep on to a seven week old who refuses to nap almost all day!

Just enjoy! My LO was super sleepy for her first 8 weeks. She was never awake for more than 30 mins at a time, and at times it seemed like all she did was sleep. I just tried to enjoy it! At 4 months she is still quite the sleepyhead but her awake periods keep getting longer and longer.

I'm sure she's fine. Seems like she's still waking to eat which is the main thing! So hard not to worry though!

LO is 5 weeks old as of Wednesday. She's been pretty consistent in sleeping, usually waking every 3-4 hours at night to eat and pretty active during the day, up for about 30 min-an hourish (if not more...occasionally deciding to stay up!) between feeds. She also typically gets fussy around 5:00-6:00.

Yesterday we stopped by my moms holiday work party, so there was lots of excitement. She ended up only waking twice (!!) last night, and today, she'll get up to eat, but then falls asleep after nursing and keeps right through...

Growth spurt/wonder week sleepiness? Should I try to get some awake time before tonight? Just enjoy it while it lasts and quit worrying? ;)
