I feel like the kids set up is constantly changing. I voted desk for practicality and also it can pretty much double as vanity. It’s the one from Pottery Barn Kids that it seems like lots of people have. It has a pink ruffle stool that makes her princess heart beyond happy. </p> <p>When she outgrows it, we’ll get a desk. I would 100% go for the desk. My daughter has an antique dresser with a big mirror like a PP. We covered it with foil out of frustration because she spends too much time staring at herself when she's supposed to be getting dressed. (Mirror like in below photo.) For what it's worth, I have an antique wall mirror over my dresser but not my vanity - it wouldn't be that useful for actually applying makeup!
