By 8-9 months I was buying 12-18m sizes, even though they were a bit big. I saw this one piece giraffe print romper thing at Baby Gap with a hat and booties. The pants were way too big on him in the waist until he was about 9 months, and now at almost 11 months they're almost too short. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/6-12-months-clothing#post-1070252 Fri, 06 Sep 2013 11:45:51 +0000 kodybear 1070252@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>my lo is 9.5 months and still fits well in 6-12 month clothing. for us the clothes size matches her age well (so like 3 month clothing fit her well til 3 months, 6 months til 6 months, etc). i think their growth just starts to slow down alot after 6 months. my lo gained about 2 lbs from 6 to 9 months, versus gaining 1-2 lbs a month when she was younger. not sure why theres not much 9 month clothing. i'm guessing maybe for the same reason in that there's not as much growth from 6-9months? But it's really only dresses that I'm now using as tunics. I'd say she wore 6-12 for three months. The carters 6mos stuff hardly lasted us a month though. I have tons of girls clothes from newborn til 6 months, and then I have hardly any for 9-12 months. Then I have a lot of 12 months and up. K started out slow, even still can wear some of her 0-3 clothes at 6 months, but outgrowing stuff. I'm wondering if her 6-12 months clothes will really last 6 months? When did your LO outgrow 6-12 or have to move up to 9 or 12 months? And how come there are so few brands that carry 9 months clothes? </p>
