without going into all the bad details (unless of course you are going through something similar in which then I could), I lost the baby at 6 1/2 weeks. if was hard and I wish it hadn't happened but I think I have dealth with it pretty well. It just wasn't meant to be and something must have been wrong with it. My time will come...

Well I called the dr this morning and they told me to go to the ER. So I went and basically spent 5 hours there. They did some bloodwork and an u/s. They said they didn't see anything on the ultrasound, not even a sac, and that my numbers were low. They are confusing me so much. Because I took that all as bad and that I was having a MC but the dr said he has seen it before and that maybe i am not as far along as i thought. but i def know how far I am b/c i charted so i know i ovulated about jan 18. so if anything i might just be 4 weeks but its still nervewracking. i think they said my levels were at 800 which for 6 weeks is below normal, if thats what i am, and there is the chance of being below normal and being okay too. i have another appt on monday to get another blood test and possibly an US. I am trying to stay as positive as I can, but I am also being real too that this could not go as planned. Hoping for the best. Thank you all for your support.

I would just call the doctor for reassurance. The only thing that worries me about your post is the tissue part..but it's possible you could be confusing tissue for like CM mixed with a little blood. But anyway it can't hurt to call.

I had brown spotting at 4 weeks, then at 7 weeks I had bright red and pink spotting, with the same tissue type stuff you described. I went to my Dr. and they did at ultrasound and the baby was healthy and had a strong heartbeat. My Dr. said it was something on my placenta (i forgot the medical term), and that it would cause some bleeding or spotting over the next week. She said as long as I'm not bleeding through a pad an hour I *should* be ok. I went in 2 weeks later and there was an obviously bigger baby and strong heartbeat. It was VERY scary so I know how you feel. I know everyone is different, but I hope in your case it turns out to be nothing. Good luck to you!

Sorry you are going through this, I'd definitely see if you can get a blood test. An US won't give you much reassurance right now since it will be too early to see a heartbeat, so you'll just have to come back later anyway. I'd see if you can get an US in a week or so though. But symptoms coming and going is totally normal, a lot of women don't have any symptoms that early on. And many women spot during early pregnancy and go on and have healthy babies. Good luck!

I woke up at around 3am when I was 6 weeks pregnant to blood soaked panties. I was SO scared. I peed and the toilet bowl water was red. Went to see my OB and everything was fine with my baby. I continued to spot on and off until my second trimester.
I had a healthy baby girl 2 days after my due date though!
Hope what you're experiencing is just implantation bleeding. Try not to stress out or worry, and if you can't help but worry, go in to see your OB. I found that when I was stressed out/sleep deprived I would spot more.
Hope you have a healthy pregnancy and a sticky baby!

I don't want to scare you, but I spotted during my first pregnancy and ended up miscarrying. I called the doctor and they said it was normal, so I didn't go in. My pregnancy symptoms stayed with me. Then at my 12 week apt. they said my LO was the size of a 6 week old.... and I had been spotting at 6 weeks. So I learned there is no "normal" in pregnancy, things are different for everyone, and always go to the doctor no matter how little you think the problem is.

But during my next pregnancy I had a lot of bleeding. Bright red bleeding. And my LO ended up being healthy, she's 6 months old and super healthy now!

So you really just never know. Always better to be safe than sorry! Hope everything is fine though and it's just a scare. Good luck!

I definitely had spotting myself around that time and called the doctor to go in right away. He did an ultrasound and everything looked OK. But I kept spotting a bit in the early weeks and was always so concerned. However, it did turn out fine and my daughter is now almost 2. Sending positive thoughts your way!

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first child. The past few days I have been having some spotting. Usually it is just brown, which I know they say is old, but sometimes its a little pink, once there was a little actual red in the toilet and sometimes even a little tissue sinks to the bottom, not clot looking but like a few strands. Iam trying to stay positive andsay its okay its normal but there are the worse case scenerio to think about that we all know of. I took my temperature this morning to see what it was and it was only .3 over my coverline which makes me nervous. I am going to call the dr when I get into work to see if they can run some blood tests for the hcg and just atleast calm my nerves, if it is nothing. My first appt wasnt supposed to be until March 2 but I don't know that I can go on like this for 2 more weeks. Not to mention I lost my tenderness in my breasts which again could benothing but then it could be my hormones dropping. This morning I woke up and felt like I could throw up but who knows i it is morning sickness or justbeing sick over all of this. Some opinions would just really help. Trying to stay positive as best I can...
