They say six weeks is the peak of fussiness and then you start coming put of the NB stage til 3 months, so if LO has already turned that corner I'd just enjoy it!

I think some babies sleep more during growth spurts. I would enjoy this time and not worry. Sounds like he's thriving. Plus I think fussiness peaks around 6 weeks and then starts getting better. Maybe you've reached this turning point.

My LO definitely slept more during the day when he was at "growth spurt' points. I wouldn't worry about it! They grow while they sleep :)

I haven't gotten there yet, but I say enjoy it! Sounds like you got a good little dude. Also, I wouldn't worry about the spit up. Ped said not to worry/it's normal unless it's projectile or baby is in pain. My nephew had reflux and there's definitely a noticable difference between reflux and spitting up!

LO is six weeks and he is sleeping much more and for longer stretches. I know most say when baby is going through a spurt they sleep less but wondering if anyone experienced the opposite?

When he is awake he is much more content and is a lot less fussy.

Are we at a turning point and moving out of the fussy newborn stage?? Wondering if I should be worried that something is wrong. He seems to feel ok and is eating peeing and pooping regularly. He is actually nursing a bit longer than he normally does and falls asleep almost every time he is done!

The only thing different is he is spitting up a tiny bit after most nursing sessions but doesn't seem to be in pain !

Logic tells me to enjoy his good disposition And longer sleep stretches but the back of my mind has me just a wee bit worried!
