Everyone I talk to - friends, family, acquaintances, strangers ask me ALL these questions on a regular basis.The best is when I actually answer even though it's totally inappropriate and then they get argumentative with my response! Drunk-talking-to-your-belly-in-a-high-pitched-voice-whilst-on-her-knees-person. Oh.my.word. </p> <p>She's DH's friend's girlfriend - and also one of DH's co-workers - and she's a lovely girl but she cannot take her drink at all. Every time we have seen her since I became pregnant, she has been falling down drunk and I never realised how annoying drunk people were until I wasn't one of them!!! </p> <p>Well as soon as we walked into the bar, she squealed and started groping the belly. Fine, I can deal with that. By about 9.30pm she was slaughtered and was talking at me, in ever an increasing pitch, about how she was so excited about me having a baby, her cat is her baby [cue half hour monologue about her cat]. Then this conversation happened: </p> <p>Her: I will babysit whenever you want me to.<br /> Me: Thanks, I appreciate that.<br /> Her: No, I'm not just saying it. I really, really want to.<br /> Me: Okay, thanks.<br /> Her: No, you know you can trust me. Any time.<br /> Me: Thanks. I'll bear that in mind.<br /> Her: [turning a little argumentative] No, I'll be really upset if you don't let me....<br /> Me: [looking for DH]......!!!</p> <p>By the end of the night, well, lets just say she had dropped to her knees in front of me and was talking (read: squealing) INTO my bump. Like, her mouth was touching my dress. And kissing it!
