Have you tried taking lecithin? I only take it for maintenance now but I double up on it when I feel a clog coming on and it clears out right away. It could also help with the globs of stuff.

Here's something on Kellymom about lecithin: http://kellymom.com/nutrition/vitamins/lecithin/

I hope you get that sucker out soon. Good luck!

Are you eating any kinds of high fat foods? I continued to have clogged ducts and had to keep clearing them out until I cut out all the cured meats and cheese I was eating. Once I cut out those foods the clogging stopped

I had one that just lasted four days, I think it's normal what you're experiencing!

@citymouse: I had one that lasted 2 weeks. After the 3rd day I couldn't feel it, but I still had big globs of stuff for a long time.

@junebugmama: Okay, thats a bit reassuring. I guess Im just worried because its like 60-70 chunks that I have pulled in the past 7 days... seems like a lot!

It's totally normal. Other than massaging your breast while you pump, you just have to wait it out.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record here on the boards, but its been an entire week since I first noticed my clogged duct and I am still pulling out globs after every single pump session (8-10 times a day.) Im getting a little nervous.

Is this normal? Was it just a big clog and only so much can come out at once? Has this happened to anyone else? I don't feel the clog anymore, no lumps, no hot spot, no other lumps in breast...

Please tell me this is normal.
