Had it been colder outside with dry heat inside? She started nursing for longer sessions after 6 weeks. My seven week old does pretty well with nursing but in the afternoons for the past few days she has been preferring to nurse frequently but for just a few minutes on one side and then she falls asleep. All the usual tricks to wake her aren't working.</p> <p> I think in the last 4.5 hours I have fed her 5 times. I don't mind but only one has been even one full side. I am not at all worried about the amount of milk I have and she is gaining weight beautifully but I have no clue if this is normal behavior. Any thoughts? </p>
