The 6 week growth spurt was the first truly trying experience I had as a new mama. I had been doing really well and feeling great and Linus was so easy and then- BAM! eating ALL. THE. TIME. No continuous sleep for me. Aching nips. So rough! And all the worse because I wasn't expecting it. It didn't last that long, but it felt like an eternity. So, good luck! You can do it! It will pass soon! :)

I think so, my LO has been extra fussy this week as well particularly in the evenings and I'm attributing it to the 6th week growth spurt.
She's been fussing at the boob for the past two weeks or do. I'm not sure what it is because it's not all the time. And hardly ever at night.

@runsyellowlites: thanks for the encouragement. Its much needed! Ive read it typically lasts a couple days so here is hoping tonight is day 2. She literally has slept all day long. Im hoping it continues into the evening but have a bad feeling!! Ive just been nursing her whenever she wants basically (which is often) so im hoping my supply picks up for her as well.

Im going to start drinking mothers milk tea too in hopes of increase. Ive been on the fene about weaning since she is going to daycare and pumping I dont produce much but after this Im thinking boobie milk is her hearts desire lol

In week 6... yep sounds like a growth spurt!

As for the comfort nursing, I noticed DD comfort nursing more now at 9 weeks than I did when she was newer... guess she's figured it out more. lol

This too shall pass though! =)

Growth spurt? My baby is refusing formula. Wanting to nurse constantly even if just for comfort and has literally slept all day except to cry/eat some more.

It's times like these when 1 baby sounds fine :(
