I’m sure I’d start worrying about t then too but my ped said 7 or 8 often for boys. Have you at least stopped fluids after dinner?

My son is nearly seven, and still gets the bed from time to time. I'd recommend keeping his pediatrician updated on the matter.

Is he constipated? My son has functional constipation (where he will have a BM every day but things are still backed up). Our pediatrician said that can cause him to wet the bed.

My son is 6.5 and still wears a pull up. The doctor isn't concerned yet since we are dealing with the constipation. She also said it's normal for boys to take longer to stop wetting the bed. They also have to secrete an enzyme to produce less urine overnight.

I'm not too worried about it yet, my husband remembers wetting the bed until he was 8 or 9.

I think it could be an underlying issue and consult is needed.

When I asked my pediatrician about this at my DS’ 5 year well visit, she said staying dry doesn’t really happen until 7. Maybe talk to your pediatrician, since they can give you more perspective.

Sigh. Same boat. We are 6.5 years now. I posted a big long thread before: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/night-time-bedwetting-enyresis-alarm-any-experience-with-it

We ended up not using that expensive alarm we ordered. We read the book. The problem is not corrected yet but there were progress. Went from wetting every night 1-2 times (!) to anything between every other night, to being able to remain dry for 6 nights in a row the longest. Recently it has reverted back to staying dry every 2-3 nights. I am taking a mental break and hoping it'd somehow go away magically....

My son is 7 1/2 and still were the bed most nights. He doesn’t feel when he goes at night, and wakes up wet. I’ve never made a big deal out of accidents because I thought it was something he would just grow out of. But now, I am worried that he still goes almost every night. What can I do to help him? I already limit liquids in the evening and get him up once to go.
