@Becky: I'm going through the same thing with my newly 9 month old for the past week. Except she did use to sttn until recently. And u like your babe, she won't even take the bottle at allthus past week and only takes ~1oz by straw.

Have you checked out the website kellymom? It was recommended to me by a great lactation consultant. It's reliable & has been helpful to me in the past. I don't know the answers to this particular issue, but you might try searching "reverse cycling" to see what comes up!

My 8.5 month old has never slept well overnight, and it's getting increasingly bad. She's waking up to nurse 3 times. During the day, she has a 5 oz bottle and then barely finishes a second bottle, usually only taking an additional 3-4 oz. She gets mostly breastmilk during the day, but some formula because I can't pump enough. I'd love for her to take a 3rd daytime bottle. Right now she feeds at 5am-nurse, 9am-bottle, mid-afternoon-bottle that she barely finishes, 7pm-nurse, 10pm-nurse, 2am-nurse. It's KILLING me. She does eat a lot of solids during the day. I really want to eliminate 2 of those overnight feedings. Any suggestions for finishing, and then taking a 3rd, daytime bottle?
