@catlady: oh that makes sense! She keeps leaning forward and getting into crawling position but hasn't figured it out yet. She does a lot of face planting.

@redsmarties: thanks! Me too.

@singingbee: I'm so sorry! Once she gets to sleep her night wakeups aren't TOO bad (for her). She wakes up 2-3 times and nurses for 5-10 min. It's been better and worse, but I'm surviving. Hope it gets better for you soon!

Omg. This is us right now. I'm hoping she crawls soon so we can get over this. I'm dying. She had been sleeping through the nights and now we are up every hour. The only good thing is that I'm out of school now.

Our regression started at nine months and sounds exactly like that, but I know it can be anywhere between 8-10 Months. Hope it ends for you soon!

My LO is 8 months tomorrow and we just went through a couple weird non-sleeping periods. After the first one (about 3 weeks ago), she started crawling. After the second one (last week), she started pulling to stand! Now she's sleeping better than ever, and actually I think the crawling/standing is wearing her out so she has been sleeping longer than before at night (yes!). Maybe a new skill will come soon?

My 8 month old decided last night that 10:00 was her bedtime (usual time is 7). We tried putting her down as usual, but she just wasn't having it. She cried for over an hour as my husband alternated soothing her and leaving her to fuss. Finally, we just gave in and let her hang out with us. She was in a great mood - playing and smiling. Now she's fighting her morning nap. She cries when I leave the room but as soon as I go back in she just wants to play. She must be tired!

What do you guys think? Early 9 mo sleep regression?
