I feel your pain. My LO just turned 8m's and also just cut her 4th tooth. I was up, which felt like every hour. We co-slept and I just nursed her to sleep. She barely ate too, which was really stressful.

Now LO is much better. Hang it there. Only advice is to ride it out.

@brownie: We usually just give our LO lots of extra love and try to stick to our routine as much as possible.

@Boogs: He may be headed into ww36. So with teething it can be a bad combo. I am just not sure if we should really focus on sleep training or not. How do we work to get him to sleep better even if it is a stormy time.

If Motrin isn't helping does Tylenol (acetaminophen)? I know for different pains my son responds well to different pain relievers. Also, have you tried homeopathic remedies like camilia or hyland's teething tablets?

We got our little one to sleep pretty well at night. At least were we were comfortable. Then the last 2 days and nights have been miserable. Yesterday he took a great (1 1/2 hour) morning nap and then woke after 30 minutes for his afternoon nap. Fell asleep after solids and slept 20 minutes (50 minutes total). Last night he woke up every 2 hours on the nose. He did this the night before as well.

He seems to be getting his two front teeth in so he is uncomfortable. Motrin didn't help much.

What should we be doing to help him sleep better right now?
