We love eggs we fed LO scrambled eggs around that time (or earlier). Just a little bit on the first day. Then more if no allergy appears. We didn't give hard boiled until a year and a half. Just didn't think of it. We always eat scrambled.

The first time we wanted to give LO egg, her doc said to hard boil it first and give the yolk only (mashed up, mixed with breastmilk, or added into something). It's the white of the egg that are allergenic?

I started with hard boiled egg yolks mashed into rice cereal. LO would also just eat them from a spoon, and later cut up into little pieces. I would never eat them myself that way, but he seemed to love it. We also did scrambled yolks with cheese.

I waited until she was 12 months, and I gave her scrambled eggs. She's never been a huge fan of eggs though :(

we gave liv fried egg yolks (not fried in anything, jsut in a non-stick pan) topped with a little garlic powder at 6 months. We gave her scrambled and fried whites topped with garlic powder when she was about 10 months old. Then we started using cheese and making omelets. We cut them into chunks so she could feed herself (we did BLW) She LOVES her eggs. And her seasoning, clearly lol.

Hardboiled would work too. And we also didnt wait 4 days between foods either =o)

I plan on giving Zoey egg for the first time tomorrow morning before her pediatricians appt.! I'm a little nervous about it, but she's eating like a champ and not had any reactions to food. I confess that I don't really wait 4-days before introducing the next food.

When did you first give LO eggs and how did you prepare it? I was thinking hardboiled so she can pick the pieces up herself.
