Doc said needed to do some blood work, but said go upstairs to do it. Then he said, don't be alarmed if nurse doesn't get it the first time (draw blood). Then I asked more questions and the form said 9 - 18m's for the tests to be done. </p> <p>I then said, don't want LO to go thru that so early. They drew it from her antecubital (where your arm bends), just like they commonly do for grownups. I'm not squeamish (I used to draw blood all the time!), but for that instance I was the one shaking :( </p> <p>Getting it from the big toe sounds less evil. Eek!</p> <p>Anyway, they pricked her big TOE to get some blood for a blood count test. </p> <p>Did they do a blood test at your 9 month exam? Where did they draw blood from? </p>
