I love doing tours every now and then! You always learn these little secrets about the places and get a feel for places that you'd like to go back to for longer next time. I have friends who would totally love that type of trip- a few days here, then on to the next place.</p> <p>I would probably enjoy the first week of that trip- and then would be miserable the rest of the time, feeling like I were on some kind of forced march! But I prefer to travel slowly, spending time in each place, seeing the more out of the way destinations in each location. I'm totally fine with seeing fewer places, but being able to see each place I do go in more depth. </p> <p>I'm also not a huge fan of organized tours.
