@BlueWolverine: My LO does that every once in a while when he's on the cusp of a new "trick" i.e. rolling/ crawling / walking. He started STTN on his own right around that time, after a few weeks of 2 wake ups (after he'd only done one for months). We did no cry sleep solution; you can search for my posts on it. We've had a good experience :) Whatever you decide to do, I think its best to pick a method, give it a few days before you decide if its working or not, and make sure you and your DH are on board.

9-10 months can be a sleep regression! C went through a brutal one right about then. We had to totally retrain her.

There is a very common 9 month sleep regression! Hopefully this is just a phase and it passes soon.

If you are interested in CIO, you could try downloading the sleep from now on summary video from http://www.raymondparenting.com

I am about to do night 2 of her video and am hoping it helps. It has helped people close to me.

Sorry you're dealing with sleep issues, they are terrible. *hugs*

At least it feels like she has given up. DH and I need to sleep train her, but I'm not sure where to begin. Any help or success stories appreciated.

She' 9.5 months and has 8 teeth. They've all broken through, so I don't think our issue is teething. Most nights, she nurses to sleep/drowsy and wakes up maybe once, nurses and goes back to sleep easy. At least one night per week for the last three weeks, she has a middle of the night freak out. This week it was last night. Woke up at 1:30, I nursed her thinking she'd fall back asleep. Nope. She was awake for the next two hours. Happy as a clam if DH or I was holding her. If we put her down, she flipped out. Finally got back to sleep after I let her fall asleep on me in the glider. I just couldn't handle looking at the monitor and seeing her cry while standing up in the crib.

So, we think we're going to CIO. I know she doesn't need to eat at night. She is a good eater during the day and she used to STTN (back in the glory days). DH is on board - he thinks her night sleep has gone to crap due to "preferences." We let her CIO on Monday for bedtime and she was out after 25 minutes and didn't wake until 4:30, nursed, slept until 8:15am.

Advice? I need to get through this and feel normal again.
